1st place Parochial / Private School -- St. Clement's Parish School has been developing minds and building character since it was founded by the Church of St. Clement in 1958.

For over 60 years, St. Clement’s Parish School’s mission has been: Within a nurturing Christian environment, we promote each child’s academic, spiritual, moral, artistic, physical, and intellectual growth.

“Being voted the Best Private School in El Paso is a tremendous honor,” said Emily Cancellare, interim head of school. “It solidifies the great work of our superior educators and the amazing support of our families and community.”

St. Clement’s proudly serves more than 300 students from 3 year old to eighth grade. The campus offers the highest level of instruction paired with rigorous learning with authentic, balanced, student-centered learning experiences.

“Students at St. Clement's experience so much more than a traditional school day,” Cancellare said. “We work to serve the whole child.”

St. Clement's students can engage in diverse fine-arts programs such as music, speech, drama, and visual arts.

The school also offers individual and team sports including cross country, basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball and track and field.

In addition, students can join numerous enrichment clubs that enhance creative development, leadership skills, and a love for the environment.

“We have FIRST LEGO League robotics, a unique mentorship program, school newspaper, gardening, and many other clubs students can sign up for,” Cancellare said.

St. Clement's Parish School is accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the Texas Education Agency through the Texas Private School Accrediting Commission.
